of-gyre-and-gimble started following you
The raven haired female looked up from her book, blinking at who had come to visit her in the library. “Oh..hello, brother.”
The raven haired female looked up from her book, blinking at who had come to visit her in the library. “Oh..hello, brother.”
The blonde took a few steps closer to the girl, smiling silly as always. He had talked with Gwen a few times before and, at his point of view, they got along very well… or, at least, Jack found the girl a really interesting company to be with.
¨I didn’t want to go on with all my tasks, so I run away from home for a while.¨ the noble replied calmly, as if it were the most responsible and common thing in the world, avoiding his obligations.
¨Does that mean that you have run away from home again too, without telling Oswald? My my, Gwen, you’re a rebel! He won’t be happy when he notices you are gone.¨ Jack commented, joking. ¨Of course, I won’t tell him anything. I know how much you hate when your servants are annoying with you.¨
The Baskervilles’ girls had to have a gene that made them want to go out from the Mansion without telling his old brother, since Lacie and Gwen always made that… Poor Oswald. He had to have a lot of patience with the two girls.
Gwen wasn’t at all surprised at Jack’s response. She noted that he was more of the kind who would rather have fun instead of doing boring work. It’s one of the reasons why she found him interesting to talk to. And Gwen did have a habit of avoiding her duties as well.
She laughed softly and shook her head a bit at his response. “Ah Jack, you can’t always ignore your duties. I find it easier to do it sooner then later.” she replied, smiling.

Hearing Jack mention her sneaking out, she pouted a bit at his joking and looked to the side. “Well, he’s busy talking to Revis so I doubt he’ll notice.” she said laughing a bit. “I guess I got a little of that trait from being around you.” she replied in a joking and teasing manner. Gwen was a bit more friendly then her brother.

..I guess I could go..if Oswald would allow me to.
The third son of the Vessalius Family was walking around the streets, as lazy as always. What was a noble like him doing all alone? Running away from home and his tasks, of course! Jack had been really stressed those last days with all the work his family gave to him. Parties from the aristocracy, a lot of types of paperwork, infinite and boring conversations with rich ladies who didn’t leave him alone even for a second… All those tasks were what his family thought it was properly for a noble like him. But the blonde, carefree and easygoing, couldn’t hold all that stress… so, that day, he discretly had left the mansion to take a break. Jack knew he would be reprehended when he got back to home… but, whatever.
So, he was walking carefree, without paying attention to what was around him… and he bumped into someone. The boy was ready to apologize when a familiar voice talked sooner. A radiant smile appeared on his face.
¨Gwen?¨
¨Gwen! It’s you! How nice to see you here!¨
Upon hearing that oh so familiar and cheerful voice, Gwen looked up to see the one and only Jack Vessalius. A soft and faint smile graced her lips.

“Jack..what are you doing here?” She asked.
Gwen was sort of happy to see him. Jack was a person who caught her interest and there was rarely a boring moment with him. And she did tend to get bored oh so easily with the life of being a aristocrat. And when she did, she would sneak out, much to her brother’s dissaproval. But, getting a lecture from him was something she didn’t mind. Of course, Gwen was usually back before anyone would notice. A habit she picked up from Lacie.
“Ah, well.. I snuck out and came here to talk a walk. The servants were getting,…quite jumpy and annoying.” the raven-haired female replied calmly.

The raven-haired female walked along quietly. She decided to go and get something to eat from the local market-and she needed a break from the mansion. From everyone, really. They had gotten quite annoying lately, always jumpy. But why, she did not know. Of course, she didn’t say anything to let them know that. Gwen was never good with cheering up saddened people.
It was a sunny day out indeed, but there was a chill in the air. People about were dressed for the cold, naturally. Gwen didn’t mind it, really. She had grown used to it. But, she did bring along a shawl in case it got too cold.
As the female walked along, violet eyes scanned the area, examining things that caught her interest. A flower, building, or the simple scenery were usual things. As she gazed about, she wasn’t watching where she was going and bumped into someone.
Gwen stumbled a bit before regaining balance. She bowed before the person. “I apologize for bumping into you.”
